SafePath Nigeria is a women-led research and innovation hub, driving evidence-based solutions that empower women and girls and shape a more inclusive future.
Inspired by the urgent need for gender equality, we merged grassroots engagement with academic research to effect real, lasting change.

We apply feminist approaches to Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (M.E.A.L.) that uncover hidden dynamics, valuing both the evidence generated through the process and the measurable short‑ and long‑term impacts.

SAFEPATH has conducted trainings for women stone‑crushers in Anambra, equipping them with gender equality, safety, leadership and business skills, providing seed funding to support alternative livelihoods, and addressing the hazardous conditions, health risks and economic pressures that push women and their children into stone‑breaking while helping them establish a local savings scheme for long‑term financial resilience.
SAFEPATH worked with schools across southern Nigeria to raise awareness on Gender‑Based and School‑Related GBV, enabling students to identify forms and locations of abuse, fostering open conversations on bullying, harassment and coercion, and establishing Anti‑SRGBV clubs to empower pupils to speak out and promote safer, more supportive learning environments.
